  1. Can I just say how wonderful and amazing the film is so far!?!?! I'm sure this trip has already exceeded your expectations in so many ways. I hope that you're having a great time and I can't wait to hear all about it from you two and the kids! I know that it's a ton of work, but I have to say, it's the most worthwhile work you could possibly be doing. Congratulations to Bintz and Harris and to every student on that trip. You accomplished it together and I know you will cherish this experience forever!

  2. I just want to echo the above comment from HappyKarima.. great job folks! I stumbled across The Pass It On Project from the link on the Four & Twenty Blackbird site. Now I have to go try one of their pies as thanks for turning me on to such a worthwhile project. A cousin of mine, originally from Brooklyn, but now from Louisville, KY. spent many years of his life in SNCC supporting the Civil Rights movement. Of course I have sent him the links to The Pass It On Project as well. Please post any information you might have on viewing the entire documentary..can't wait to see it. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it" - Santayana .. Thanks you for helping these children know and remember the past.
